Technique that applies cups to the skin to create gentle suction. It improves circulation in muscles and tissues, releasing deep tensions.
The cups create a vacuum effect that mobilizes stagnant blood, oxygenating tissues and releasing accumulated toxins. They are particularly effective for relieving muscle contractures in the back and neck, joint pain, sciatica, and plantar fasciitis. They are also used to improve respiratory problems such as bronchitis or congestion, and to speed up recovery from sports injuries. The technique can be performed with fixed or sliding cups with oil, adapting to each need. Although they may leave temporary circular marks (which disappear in 3-5 days), they are not painful and many patients describe an immediate sensation of relief and deep relaxation.
Sessions of 20-30 minutes, often combined with massage or acupuncture. Ideal as a complementary treatment.
